Where Is G-14, Islamabad Located ?

G-14 sits along Srinagar Highway, close to G-13 and G-15, with Ghazi Tribal Road providing additional access. That combination gives residents an easy run to both central Islamabad and Rawalpindi, and puts G-14 squarely within the FGEHA belt of sectors that also includes G-13 and G-15.

G-14 Islamabad's Development History: FGEHA Phase-IV

G-14 is a Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) scheme, launched in 2004 as Phase-IV, covering roughly 5,486 plots across its sub-sectors. Development work on G-14/1, G-14/2, and G-14/3 was awarded in 2012, and progress since then has varied by block: G-14/3 has moved fastest, with 60% of road development completed, electricity laid by IESCO, and the sub-sector fully energised, while some plots have already been handed over to allottees.

G-14/1 has been slower going — it’s more densely occupied, and survey teams have at times faced access issues from local residents, so FGEHA has relied on GIS technology to complete building/unauthorised-structure assessments there instead. G-14/4’s rehabilitation and infrastructure works have also been awarded and are progressing. As of 2026, FGEHA has issued completion certificates for G-14/2 and G-14/3, a meaningful milestone that G-14/1 has not yet reached.

Srinagar Highway and Ghazi Tribal Road give G-14 direct access to both Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Internal roads are wide and carpeted in the more developed sub-sectors, in keeping with FGEHA’s standard CDA-style planning.

Schools and Amenities in G-14 Islamabad

Schools, universities, hospitals, mosques, parks, and sports grounds are all within a short drive of G-14, and FGEHA has separately invited proposals to establish a dedicated English-medium school and college in G-14/2 on a revenue-sharing basis — a sign that the sector’s own education infrastructure is still being actively built out.

G-14 Markaz and Commercial Areas

G-14 has a dedicated Markaz serving daily needs like grocery shopping, pharmacies, and small businesses. It isn’t as commercially developed as G-13’s Markaz yet, but FGEHA has been actively expanding it — including inviting bids for a new Class-III Shopping Centre in G-14/4.

Utilities in G-14 Islamabad

  • Electricity: laid by IESCO, with G-14/3 fully energised as of the most recent development update.
  • Water: FGEHA has continued contracting private water tanker deliveries for G-14 alongside the permanent supply network, meaning full underground water infrastructure is still being completed sector-wide.
  • Roads and sewerage: most advanced in G-14/3, with G-14/2 close behind; G-14/1 and G-14/4 further behind pending survey and construction work.

Additional Amenities

As a government-backed CDA/FGEHA sector, G-14 carries the legal security of formal NOC status — buyers don’t face the kind of NOC complications sometimes seen with private housing schemes.
