G-14 is a Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) scheme, launched in 2004 as Phase-IV, covering roughly 5,486 plots across its sub-sectors. Development work on G-14/1, G-14/2, and G-14/3 was awarded in 2012, and progress since then has varied by block: G-14/3 has moved fastest, with 60% of road development completed, electricity laid by IESCO, and the sub-sector fully energised, while some plots have already been handed over to allottees.
G-14/1 has been slower going — it’s more densely occupied, and survey teams have at times faced access issues from local residents, so FGEHA has relied on GIS technology to complete building/unauthorised-structure assessments there instead. G-14/4’s rehabilitation and infrastructure works have also been awarded and are progressing. As of 2026, FGEHA has issued completion certificates for G-14/2 and G-14/3, a meaningful milestone that G-14/1 has not yet reached.
