Where Is C-16, Islamabad Located ?

C-16 sits on the foothills of the Margalla Hills, fronting Margalla Avenue and touching the GT Road, next to C-14 and C-15 and close to the Multi Gardens B-17 project. Sangjani, the planned terminus of the Rawalpindi Ring Road, is the next stop along the same corridor, which gives C-16 a long-term connectivity story beyond its current development stage. Margalla Avenue itself is the sector’s main asset: it links C-16 straight down to Main Margalla Road and the rest of Zone I, so residents aren’t dependent on a single access point the way some outer sectors are.

C-16 Islamabad's Development History :

C-16 is one of the newer sectors in CDA’s C-series, planned as a residential neighbourhood of roughly 2,500 plots with room for parks, schools, playgrounds, and a main Markaz plus class-III shopping centres. CDA documentation covering the sector’s early plot categories includes 25×50 ft and 30×60 ft (5 and 8 Marla) sizes, alongside larger categories up to 1 Kanal in the fuller master plan. Development has picked up pace recently: as of November 2025, CDA published tenders worth roughly Rs 5 billion for infrastructure development works specifically in sub-sectors C-16/1 and C-16/2 — one of the larger recent funding commitments among Islamabad’s newer sectors, and a clear sign the sector is moving from survey stage into real construction.
