Where Is E-11, Islamabad Located?
E-11 sits in north Islamabad, immediately east of D-12 and north of F-11, with access onto Margalla Road and the Islamabad Expressway-side network. It’s close to the Golra Sharif Railway Station, which adds a rail-connectivity angle that few other sectors this central can claim.
E-11’s location is one of its strongest selling points: quick access to Kashmir Highway, Margalla Road, and neighbouring sectors like F-10, F-11, G-11, and D-12 means residents can reach shopping malls, hospitals, schools, and entertainment across the city without a long commute.
E-11 Islamabad's Development History
E-11 developed as a mature, mixed area combining CDA land with cooperative and private-society schemes — most notably the Multi-Professional Cooperative Housing Society (MPCHS), which partnered with CDA on the sector from 2009 onward. That mixed origin is why plot and apartment standards vary somewhat between the CDA-planned portions and the society-developed blocks, more so than in a single-authority sector like G-13.

E-11’s master plan sets aside ample open space, with parks, jogging tracks, and playgrounds integrated throughout the sector rather than concentrated in one spot — a deliberate design choice to keep green space within walking distance across all four sub-sectors.
Schools and Amenities Near E-11 Islamabad
E-11 Markaz anchors an unusually deep amenity base for its location, with schools, clinics, restaurants, gyms, mosques, and cafes distributed across the sector — residents describe it as one of the more self-sufficient E-sectors, without needing to lean heavily on neighbouring sectors for daily life.
E-11 Markaz and Commercial Areas
E-11 Markaz is the sector’s primary commercial hub, and each of the four sub-sectors also carries its own smaller Markaz, so residents generally have shopping and services close to home rather than centralised in a single location.
Utilities in E-11 Islamabad
